Webzen participates in 'G -Star 2022' B2B Exhibition Hall

Wezen (CEO Kim Jae-young) will participate in the B2B booth at the G-Star 2022 event and strengthen the global publishing business.

Wezen will operate a booth at the G-Star B2B Exhibition for three days from the 17th to strengthen partnerships with national and foreign game developers. Through this event, we will expand the global business of representative works, Mu and R2 IP, and provide opportunities to sour out excellent IPs on various genres and platforms, from indie games to cross-platform games.

This year, Wezen is focusing on developing new works and developing new works for future growth. In December last year, the company has established a number of investment and publishing projects after establishing the Unicorn TF, which discovers ventures and developers who are likely to grow as unicorn companies.

In July, the company signed a publishing contract with global game developer Crimsons, and will introduce Awaken Legends (IDLE RPG) to the global market as soon as possible.

Wezen will secure the copyright of the Awaken Legend in Korea, America, Europe, and East Asia. First, we plan to expand the service area gradually by securing service data, starting with some regions such as Canada, and then checking the business feasibility.

In addition, Wezen is developing various new works through its subsidiaries with the goal of launching next year. First, Wezen Blue LAK is developing a large mobile MMORPG 'Project M' using 'Union Engine 5', which connects the 'Mu' IP lineage along with a massive recruitment. In Webzenova, we are rushing to develop mobile collection RPG 'Project W' with animation-style combining 2D and 3D.

In the case of project W, it is mentioned as a new IP with great popularity in the internal development inspection process. Wezen Red Core, which is well known as the R2M developer, is also preparing for a new work, and it is receiving a lot of attention from the industry.
